Adobe Alchemy Setup on Linux is likely easy as hell.

I'll probably make a simplified tutorial tonight on how to merely compile the Quake.swf with the engine already built.
Then anyone can make a total conversion mini-mod for WinQuake and just compile the pak into the Flash. It'd be a hell of a lot easier than compiling the "Flash engine" which is a fair amount of setup.

I haven't seen anything about Malice anywhere, even after looking for it. Can somebody send me a gameplay video or something? Descriptions I've read of it sound interesting.
Is hard to get a hand on it. I think I managed to secure one copy trough abandonwarez to fix some reported compatibilities issues with telejano.
And yes, I can confirm everything good people has to say about malice.

..Not free but I have it. Bought it years ago along with the X-men add-on. Cd's are long gone, but the mods still lives on in my Quake directory and in my DVD backups.
At the time Malice was awesome & I liked the x-men add-on even though it was not the greatest, but I'm a big Marvel/mutant/X-men fan.

..Funny you mentioned that as I know I was one of those who "reported" some of those issues.

Malice rocks. It is easily the best Quake mod in existence.
I have it as a 31 M archive. With 7zip, it could probably go smaller...
I can't easily send 31 M as an email though (not that it would be legal of course).
edit: hmm, I got it down to 20 M with 7z at max settings, and I also have the devkit. No source though.

If you add it somewhere on the net, I might mirror it on QuakeWiki. I also might have it, but the remaining archive is a mess, until I sort it out and add all mods to my mod repository.
