I started a new thread on a test Capel Curig inn that I made.

If you need instructions on how to access that thread, check out the enclosed instruction book.

..That's not effective with this issue. Its not so much that the cursor moves slow as it moves jerky and erratic. Changing the sv_maxspeed just makes the cursor skip around faster... Thanks though.

and your using darkplaces?

anyways iv got a problem now...

the cursor moves pretty damn slow... and i even increased max speed to like 3000 and it goes the same speed...

so i also enabled the prydon cursor... and that worked pretty good till i tried to get him to move... then i clicked once and he just kept running and i couldnt get him to stop... im running prydon 1.3 plus the addon map packs...

..I would leave sv_maxspeed at the default 320, then increase your mouse sensitivity. Not using cl_prydoncursor you will need your mouse sensitivity set to at least 10(I like around 30) or more using the settings menu mouse slider or without quotes typing: "sensitivity 10" into the console.

..Now when enabling cl_prydoncursor turn your sensitivity down to 1 or 2. Any more than that and my cursor would zoom around the screen to fast.

..How does Darkplaces not crash to the console when you enable cl_prydoncursor? Prydon crashes shortly after a fight starts with any monster after enabling it.

You might need Mauve and Harb's "The Dark Age" addon pack for Prydon. Go to the download section of http://www.inside3d.com/prydongate/ and go all the way to the bottom of the page. The link that worked for me was from 3d Downloads .com

Where's the server that's still running Prydon?

..Well maybe that server will be in my list... Never seen one before though. Its there, very laggy but there. I'm playing on it right now for a bit. The F'ed up thing is I enabled the cl_prydoncursor and it WORKS! No crash. Must be multiplayer only...
