Yes, the old man's back from one of his usual 6-month breaks. I've unsurprsingly done much of nothing quake-wise, suffered another HDD failure, but fortunately lost nothing due to my regular backing-up to an external HDD (hurrah, once bitten etc.) I've not even played much in the way of video games lately, and only done some facebook-ing online-wise. (Hence this somewhat self-indulgent therad)
Its great to see so much still happening around here; and once again spending half an hour reading threads has stirred me into action again, but no promises of anything being finished.
I'm slowly returning to fitness after a hip-op 18 months ago; I may even ride a bike properly again, in the meantime I fill my time working, family-time-ing (I be greatest at gramma aud spellink me) and sedentary activities like fishing.
In closing I'll say its nice to be back (Inside3d consistently being the friendliest and most welcoming of online communities I've been part of) can't promise I'll be around for ages or produce anything exciting, but it will, as always, be fun.
