Need some help finding movie title...

Postby CocoT » Mon Apr 13, 2009 6:16 pm

Hey :)
I thought maybe one of you could help me out. I'm writing a paper and I'm trying to remember an old movie I've seen and whose story-line connects somewhat with the novella I'm writing about...
I think it's probably an oldish movie, late 80's or early 90s. What I remember from it is that it was the story of some kind of spaceship that was discovered empty by (I guess) people that were meant to rescue the crew. Accessing the videos from the ship, they slowly realized that the crew had gone totally insane after being "assaulted" by visions of hell (I mean it literally - the story was about them having had, for some reason, access to what hell looks like and, as a result, becoming crazy).
Any idea? :P

Sounds like Event Horizon.
...and all around me was the chaos of battle and the reek of running blood.... and for the first time in my life I knew true happiness.

Since you capitalized my nick, ignoring a decade of tradition and disrespecting Shub herself, I am going to have to change my vote to Howard the Duck as well. Thus by the sacred rites of Democracy, you are now wrong, the film you should be thinking of is Howard the Duck!

I think it's Road House, or possibly this little slice of genius.

I have it on DVD. It's both the best and the worst film ever made.
