I'd like to make a shout out help to anyone who is working on a new single player mod. some of you might know me from my vwep package

I also help test with Avirox on his kick ass mod MegaTF Coop and did some vwep work there as well.

I was actually wondering if anyone needed a composer or sound designer. I've been playing guitar for about 10 years and I also play keyboard. here are some samples of what I think would fit with a typical Quake mod.

this is kind of an old one, it was inspired by the atmospheric like sound that the original Quake soundtrack has to offer.

this is a clip of a song I did last year with a side project I was in. this particular part of the song had a lot of Jeehun Hwang influence, whom of course is the composer of Scrouge of Armagon and Dissolution of Eternity. the mixture of heavy guitar riffs and an orchestra is just awesome. so just tell me what you guys think I guess and if your interesting in having me be part of your team :D

I've not had a chance to listen yet, I'll check them out soon however, but since you mentioned Jeehun Hwang, I've definitely perked up regarding it - I was enjoying the Dissolution of Eternity score earlier today in fact, and am looking forward to what you've got up here!

The first track would go great on a base themed map, could work alright for the other themes.

The second track, yeah, a little Hwang, a touch of Vesperian Sorrow, could work for game play that propels you forward.

I think you could definitely find a place amongst any project here, and I'd certainly be interested in hearing more of your stuff.

here is a demo I just made this morning called

"Coming To Get You"

its very Robert Prince inspired. it sounds a bit similar to e2m6 on Doom

That is very much Doom - Thy Flesh Consumed feeling, not really fitting with Quake, but would go great in a brimstone/marble Doom map. Good stuff however, I love anything creepy or ominous.

Are you familiar with the Blood soundtrack? Its midi and cdaudio, depending on if you have the disc in, very good stuff there, though its not quite like Doom's, or Quake's soundtracks.
