I've been trying to run SDQ in my never-released-new-engine but it always chokes trying to load textures (not sure exactly which one). Anyway, great job with the mod, I can't stop playing that, and this must mean something good.
Gotta a couple bugs and adjusts to report back to you, though:
- sometimes monsters get stuck in walls or even outside the maps (mostly the bosses, but the flying ones like the octabrains does that a lot too). You have to either noclip or restart the level to finish it;
- looks like the monster_queen is getting stuck into the death animation sometimes. Again, this prevents me to finish the level;
- at least once that flying sub-like drone from DN3D (not the flying pigcar, the small one) became invincible and stuck on ground, pretty much like the zombie stuck on ground bug in stock Quake;
- when the last killed monster is the pigcar it terminates the map but counts only as one single frag, preventing a 100% score;
Now, some personal opinions, not bug-related:
- I think that the PVS drone is too powerful (invincible, high firerrate and damage and too far range). Sometimes this kills the challenge of fighting hordes of different monsters, because you can spam a lot of these around you and just watch the monsters dying like flies;
- like in the movie, the ED-209 robot buddy is too stupid to be useful most of the time. Making it escorts the player would be more fun, and maybe speaking some movie remarks (hey, you're already ripping a lot of movie/game stuff here, so why not).
Anyway, as I told I can't help but play it and wait the next version, fixing stuff and bringing new baddies.

i don't what to do about the boss monsters stuck in walls. i know this relates to their size and the bounding box. i'm guessing it's an engine problem. i have figured out that the queen may sometimes spawn a drone inside a wall. i think i figured out that one.
every once in a while some monster may spawn invincible and just stand there. can't kill it, can't finish the level. no clue.
yeah i understand about the pigcar. i bet it's the same for the pigtank. just don't kill it last! haha. i bet this is because killed() where the nextlevel code is get's called before or simultaneously to the monster death, where the tank/car spawns a pigcop
yeah i'll probably change the perimeter defense. i hardly ever use it, but good idea. yeah robot buddy is stupid, might make a change there

i've run it on a geforce2. so it should work on a 5200. but hey you can probably get a decent radeon AGP for $50-70 or so
