SpeedMod #02 Instructions & Questions Thread

48 Hour Speedmod, 12th of Febuary 2005
Coders, Your task it to make a QC mod in 48 hours or less based on the
following ideas:
1 - The THEME is BOSS COMBAT, so the task is to make a fun combat that would
be suitable for the end of a campaign / episode.
2 - You are to base your mod in the level H_SPEED3.BSP or H_SPEED3A.BSP
(Both supplied in the .zip)
Scattered thoughtout the level you will find entities with the classnames of
'speedent1', 'speedent2, 'speedent3' and 'speedent4'.
At the center of the arena is an entity with the classname of 'speedboss',
decide for yourself how you will use that, trigger to activate etc.
Both levels come with 1 Info_player_start and 8 Info_player_deathmatch
ents, which you can use however you please.
If you don't like the levels, you can write your boss combat for a level
you make yourself, as long as it's also done within the 48 hour timelimit.

I have to finish my Flash project for class, but I will try to participate when I get the time. Boss fights are something that really interests me. ^_^
When my computer inevitably explodes and kills me, my cat inherits everything I own. He may be the only one capable of continuing my work.

I had a miserably busy weekend. Sorry I didn't do anything, this was a cool theme.
