Here's mine:

Oh and I forgot to not make it use the info_player_start, but since it's a 1997 mod, mistakes are all the rage.

I think I might be a little late (can't remember when the competition ends), but here's my submission:

1997 Heaven

It's unoriginal, and I cheated a bit by using DP's .scale feature (because I ran out of time), but overall it's good.

Still have to try the other submissions. Thanks everyone for posting!

Thanks, Crossbone! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'm going to play all the mods later tonight; I'll give feedback when I can.

LOL! These were great!

Cheapy - That's you? Hehehe. Very funny mod, and the readme was great.

Harb - I laughed SO HARD reading your readme! It was perfect. This mod was extremely trippy. I'll never think of fishes the same...

Mauve - LOL! Smiley cats that look like dogs, evil grunts who viciously attack '0 0 0', and logs... LOGS!
/me hides
Weapon 8 was funny too.

Wazat - Well, to critique myself, I've noticed I don't have weapons and ammo spawning nearly often enough. I guess nobody even got to try the guns. :( It's too hard to play without dying, so everybody use cheat codes. :o

I didn't find any fish in Harb's mod... did I have to go to a map with fish in it? Or did I miss a certain weapon? Eh??

Sajt, all the speedmods are designed to be played on the level c_speed2.bsp , which is included in the full download pack.

Wazat: Thanks for the thumbs up on my Readme.txt... I just wish it was a little less biographical
