ELF SpeedMod Event #01 *Instructions & Questions Thread*
Okay guys, here's the blurb for today's speedmod!
***
24 Hour Speedmod, 28th of January 2005
Coders, Your task it to make a QC mod in 24 hours or less based on the following ideas:
1 - The THEME is Modding in 1997, so get out there any make your CDROM.COM inspired horrors.
2 - You are to base your 1997 style mods in the level C_SPEED2.BSP (Supplied in the .zip)
Scattered thoughtout the level you will find entities with the classnames of 'speedent1', 'speedent2, 'speedent3' and 'speedent4'.
Every entity in your mod must be derived either from these four basic entity sets, or from QC-coded entities you place yourself.
You are free to build whatever game type you want to, in either NQ or QW, SP, COOP or DM.
Other than that, the only entity supplied is a single info_player_start, which you can use to view the level, but you may not use it in the final QC mod!

Special Note: Today's Speedmod map was produced by CrossBone, the youngest ELF brother (he's eleven), and it genuinely is his first ever map!

The bad news is that I'm not gonna be able to make this speedmod either because of work

I'm starting on mine, but my schedule is a bit chaotic so mine may be a little bit late... maybe?
I'm going to enjoy this theme. :)

When my computer inevitably explodes and kills me, my cat inherits everything I own. He may be the only one capable of continuing my work.
