Nice Work on the Nade,
Meshsmoothed on the bottom? You could probably get a similar result with other techniques and save polys if it is.

Thanks!
... and yeah, no meshsmoothing (the bottom pic is the exact same as the top pic, just showing the wireframe).
It's next-gen, and for first person view. Besides, with next-gen it's not really polys that make the difference, it's vertices and texels.

I could make 1 triangle make your gpu cry :P

Electro: Yeah that'd be cool, but I was figuring maybe I should do this one myself, from the bottom up, no matter what the end result will be :)

I'd love to make a proper Ignition-like with you sometime though, this one's more of a gameplay experiment.

Now with the beginnings of a racetrack!

Make it better-than-proper. Ignition was a tad lacking in the track length and amount and was essentially limited to being a (excellent) coffee break game.

You're right in one sense, but I quite liked the coffeebreak-ness of it. I'd say it lacked depth in the form of being able to develop any kind of skill. You could drive as well as you ever would be able to after the first 10 minutes. Not sure what to do about that though.

add some pot holes or oil spills :P or make it manual transmission and require them to shift gears.

Cheers, the whole project is coming together :)

Low-poly fork-lift for a map prop, probably could look better. 250-300 tris.

The boobs are too big. I don't know, maybe you like then that way, but it breaks to me the sexy appeal. Maybe the hands are a bit too big too.
But I have no idea of moddeling, really, so ignore my comment.

Developments. eq0101 now has houses! Lots. Some even have insides, but you're not allowed to view them yet. Pictures:

Most of the architecture of the level is done. Still masses to do however.

Damn, Ajay! The houses look awesome. Your city starts to shape up. The skybox looks horrible  but I'm sure you know this.

I'm looking forward to see your next updates.

P.S. The gas stop looks kinda out of place. Too modern.

That city looks awesome!

Is that Half-Life BSP? I think it might be because it looks like your using tex lights.

Very well done!
Did you re-size her "bouncies"? If so, they look more proportional than before... as far as the hands and feet, I like the fact that they are a bit big as they make your character interesting looking... though maybe the feet could be a tiny bit smaller.

Haha, after seeing your "bouncies" on your model, my wife says I can't play Quake anymore!
Good God! You shot my leg off!
