ceriux: needs a few more polys for the bear i think, but otherwise looks good ;) It would be kinda funny if this were used as the player model in quake-life

im trying to keep him pretty low poly, i still have to add the gun and crowbar. im also going to be trying to make the animations match all of those found in the standard quake player.mdl. im making this for frag.machine. but his mod seems to used borrowed content. so im sure he wouldnt mind letting anyone else use it. i know i wouldnt mind.

@ceriux: dude, it's your model that you're kindly borrowing to my mod. You don't need to ask me anything. :)

@avirox: I think it would be pretty cool. If it's OK to ceriux, I have no objections.

The mesh looks pretty good as is, even the goatee is in the right size. If you think it's ready to skin it go ahead.
I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC :) (LordHavoc)

Ceriux has really leveled up in skill and capability in the last year.
The night is young. How else can I annoy the world before sunsrise? 8) Inquisitive minds want to know ! And if they don't -- well like that ever has stopped me before ..

thank you, Baker. My 3DSMax isnt even operating well its very laggy cause of windows 7... i personally was surprised i was able to even get this model to look as well as it is.

The Gauss cannon is just fine. But feel free to make a generic sci-fi weapon by your own design if you prefer. As I said, the mod won't have vwep support so is up to you which weapon to add.

hmm in that case i might just use the quake guy wep and retexture it to match the HEV suit.

I made two more textures. I think now I have enough of these nature textures, maybe I could add some moss over the first stone texture...

9/10

the 9 (and not 10) is because lack mapshots. I think theres already a standard for mapshots.. hell.. I even think tomazquake support it? ..is kinda easy, once the player connected, make a screenshots in the 1 seconds if theres not mapshot already.

11/10 would be putting the name of the map (from worldspawn) below the filename name in smaller font.
