Very cool frag.machine! One thing I didn't understand: casting spell costs mana-like ammo? Because, in the video is not clear. Can player cast invisibility as many time as he likes?

Yes, there are 4 mana varieties, replacing regular Quake ammo. In the video the default HUD was disabled because I intend to remake it in CSQC, otherwise you'd see the mana reduction. Every spell has a mana cost, but since gameplay is stealth-based I made the mantle of shadows fairly cheap and requiring only blue mana, so it can be reasonably abused (I guess this expression probably makes no sense in english, but oh well... You get what I mean :D ).

There will be another video in the next weekend where I'll show most of the working spells at full force (you acquire or upgrade spells retrieving specific Ancient Tomes, that replaces regular weapons). Prepare for a more action-oriented footage.
I know FrikaC made a cgi-bin version of the quakec interpreter once and wrote part of his website in QuakeC :) (LordHavoc)

Created a 3d scene with CSQC and GLSL without any external asset: 3d entities, textures and map scene is generated procedurally. It also shows how to use GLSL for post-processing effects

Really really good effect, compliments Barnes! I like the idea that, in addition to the usual "old movie stuff", you add a color correction pass, which adds a personal look, very stylish

It seems very similar! Are you creating your own version or will it be identical as possible to original?

Identicle as possible.. I have a reference photo with a grid from birds eye view. It wont be 100% but id say like around 90% accurate. Theme wise im just trying to make it medieval-ish.

Ive actually about finished ill post another screen asap.
