The problem stemmed from Hexen 2 having lightptr as an unsigned int

Today I have mostly been reading this entire thread. Its a thing of beauty; tinged with sadness at some lost images... great stuff and an indication of the creativity of this place.

I've been working a lot on a demo-version of earthQuake, as well as overhauling the blog with some fancy pages on the menu. Not much to show for the demo version yet.

Looks a bit like a club-fisted shambler, but then it's pretty hard to get much variety into such a form.

thanks =) iv been thinking about making him into other things as well. maybe something more futuristic looking rather than fantasy.

i like that type of golem too, but i think thats more of a magical type golem. the golem i was going for was more natural i kind of wanted to make it seem more like an animal. so i kind of thought gorilla , considering his club like arms. but i wanted him to be more reptilian looking rather than pure stone. so i made him look more "dumb" because of the gorilla aspect but not brute, more simple minded.
maybe ill make one similar to that one after i animate this one =)

Your model looks awesome for Quake. Raw, brutal and mysterious/rough. Not some comical kiddie stuff.
