Re: My fellow Quakers...

Sad news, Error! I hope everything falls into place and you get better soon. The good news about the Q1 community and its modding projects, is that they stopped being time-sensitive a long time ago - so I hope you'll eventually find some time in a not too distant future to have some fun again with m...

Re: What are you working on?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjwNP7V6Jjs This is an (oldish) video of the CounterQuad game mode for Ultimate Quad Capture. I'm working on an "Anniversary" release of the mod in the summer, 11 years ( wow ) after the initial release. If I counted them right, there will be at least 5 new g...

Re: No Bugs Allowed Released.

Looking fun! I have some issues with GL-engines for the moment, so I can't really check it out, but the screens (and the latest video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4DgE40w-IE) look nice! :)

Winquake Ports

I feel there are probably a good amount of posts on those, but since I'm not sure I'm able to track them all down, I'll just ask the question directly, and maybe this thread can become a nice list to go back to: what are some cool Winquake ports? I'm looking for one that would be stable, support lar...

Re: What are you working on?

It looks quite nice, Shpuld. Is this going to be for "regular" Quake1, or PSP? Frankly, I don't mind the flat look of it as this point of development. I'm all for trying to get a mod out the door relatively early (maybe just a couple of "demo" levels?), and then you can spend som...

Re: Issues with my graphic card...

Well, it seems like, since my last post, Win7 has updated itself and I'm actually back to fullscreen automatically freezing everything... :( I tried cclearner and, while it's a nifty little program and it might help a little bit with performance, the changes made to the registry didn't seem to fix t...

Re: Issues with my graphic card...

Thanks Spike, it did help. I installed the oldest Win7 driver I could find and - while this didn't seem to help - reinstalling the newest drivers afterwards actually partly fixed the issue: I can now get in and out of games without crashing. I have another problem now, though: it looks like I can't ...

Issues with my graphic card...

Hello everyone... I know this is going to be somewhat of a technical post, and only relates indirectly to Quake, but since I'm not super familiar with other forums and I know many of you are technology-savvy, I thought I'd give it a try... This is the story: I've upgraded to Windows 7 (64bits) a lit...

Re: What are you working on?

Chip : I love the reflection of the sky in those windows! :) Is that for a mod you're working on?

Irritant : Impressive stuff, as always. I really need to redownload a more current version of AA :)

Ceriux : Nice! I like the bald spot :P Would this be for Quake 1?

Re: What are you working on?

Baker: haha, that's awesome! :) Shpuld: Cool video! It reminded me a little of Kiss Psycho Circus when the crab creatures attack (watch this, if you don't know what I'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luXelZh7Eww). How many of those spiders can be on screen without the game lagging too...
