Re: [TO ADMINS]Forum logout session time
I was not involved in setting up the new forums in any substantial way. I set the login length to 90 days, since obviously it wasn't parsing the 0 days as Never, we'll see how it goes from here. I am around, just not typically on forums, I am very available on Twitter and Discord, as well as running...

Re: Quake Mod Showcase
For some background, the site started as InsideQC. It briefly expanded to include Quake 2, Jedi Knight, and Genesis3d. For this expanded scope it rebranded to Inside3d. A few Jedi Knight tutorials and one or two articles on Genesis3d appeared. A Quake 2 mod was hosted, Stroggs Gone Mad. These were b...

Quake Mod Showcase
This sub-forum is becoming the Quake Mod Showcase to broaden its focus and give dedicated mod threads a place to live without getting lost in the miscellany of General Discussion. All existing posts will remain. If you are wanting to start a discussion of an existing Quake mod, rather than one of yo...

Re: QUAKE MOD SHOWCASE
"What Are You Working On" is an active thread concerning current activity, it is to share any sort of action, research, fiddling, or what not. It allows people to show that they are engaging in productive activity that need not be a major product. You don't skim through it, you read it eve...

Re: QUAKE MOD SHOWCASE
Don't take this post as a decision, as right now we're kind of acting in a tribunal form. I like the subject matter at hand, but I don't feel a new sub forum is necessarily the best solution. In my opinion we have an excess of them right now for the number of active users. There is also a bit of gra...

Re: AtomicGamer is shutting down July 2015
It's 100% to do with AG shutting down. As the notice was sudden, and the fate of the domains was unclear, FrikaC nabbed InsideQC (the original name of the site) and migrated the forums to avoid data loss. With a new domain, owned by the admin, we can hopefully fix some things up and restore a lot of...

Made this thread a sticky, removed sticky from the others to emphasize this one.
This is an opportunity in theory to get modern forums somewhere with spam bot protection so the forums can organically grow.

Re: AtomicGamer is shutting down July 2015
The domains seem to be in question right now. I can put the non forum content on my own domain, and will happily share archives of both with a few people (looking at you Spirit). But the community needs a place to go and discuss things.
I guess at this point, everything is on the table.

Re: AtomicGamer is shutting down July 2015
I just found out via Rich's Facebook post about it. The forums has a backup option which we could theoretically use... And I can just download everything on the site itself that I have permission to. But as for the domain and the continuation of the forums? I don't know. I've got hosting for scar3cr...

Interesting look there jim, it reminds me of what tv shows thought games looked like back in 95. Cool.

I've got Tei on Facebook, I'll ping him about it when I can.
Also, I got a json error when I followed the link. Could just be my phone though.
