apparently, a sp game with 9 multiplayer maps IS NOT ENOUGH MAPS. Doom3 had 5, Q1 had 6, and Q2 had 8, and all those were an adequate amount, but 9, which is much more than the other games, IS NOT ENOUGH? WTF? And no one complained when HL2 had no multiplayer on it's release! ... and let's not forg...

Quake has played a big part in my life as has this community. I was unable to make it in time for the qexpo that just went, but i can sure as hell try my best to get in for a big decade event such as this!

Love you all. Don't look at me like that Urre.

I know this is rather late... but i may be able to start working on something at some point in time somewhere... o_O I have a couple of old mods that i mostly coded up. I'm looking at doing more game design within them to make the core functionality alot more fun, and this is so far as simple as com...

Wouldn't it be best to have something planned beforehand officially before asking people to jump on board for a booth? For how long the startup process is taking i'd be impressed if the 2005 deadline is met. Come on people it's just an online event how long could it possibly take to setup considerin...

Inside3D is to remain the home for Quake and more importantly QC and the developers who continue to use it. QuakeSrc is deemed a Q2 community for the fact that it mainly consists of Q2 developers and content... if this doesn't make it more of a Q2 site then what does? Merging I3D with QuakeSrc would...

sigh

yeah the off-topic talk was rather boring to be honest i don't really bother going into IRC anymore because of the distractions and useless blabble that goes on. i may make a return one day, or at least a little bit before qexpo, during, and a bit after. don't know, see how things turn out. i'll be ...

alive somewhat

The projects i have that are sort of in alive status are (in order of liveliness):

Shockbot
Pro-X
QBombRun

I'm not really devoting much time to the development of them as i'm working on a new game, but i guess as qexpo approaches more i can spend more time here and there on them.

Tei: DP, your engine, and FTE are the handful of engines that bring new things for modders to work with. The problem however comes with other engines not sticking to any consistant standards (even these engines can break compatibility with each other at times). An even bigger problem is with the Qua...

Well... at least somebody's posting to the forum. Things have been so dead here lately... :) *sniff* i miss the older quake modding days to be honest.... when things were more lively. These days it's just 1024 (power of 2 just for you programmers!) tutorial based engines with nothing new to offer. ...
