Well it looks like fail to me, check out those boxy hips, and the inconsistent edgeflow around the hip area and the knee! The butt polys are also too wide, the shin is not defined making a tube foot and the foot's heel also has way too many edgeloops. The knee was made like that purposely, trying o...

Decided to take a break and do a little project for fun> catch was only two hours to do it. Needless to say I failed terriably as I only just managed to get the body/legs done. http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/7585/ss20100820213616.jpg Self note: Practice a proper anatomy sometime instead of these...

I'll give the rig a tidy up and remove the offset. Cheers for the advice. I'm a max user, there are some nasty issues.

my god using a crappy halflife muzzleflash and not even blending it is so lazy or even neglecting to turn off cl_bob making the flash look even stupider (halo did not have view bob), also the death animations (with strange lack of IK use in animation leading to very oddly bent spines) being offset ...

All models, textures, skyboxs, animations, sound and maps are made by us, the muzzle flashes are temporary.

Edit: Oh yeah, the rocket launcher reload is temp too.

That video was the darkplaces version. It won't look the best graphically as it's using the same content running on the PSP build.

http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/820/ss20100618183425.jpg I can't design anything space worthy if my life depended on it. Very disappointed with it, but hell, it's only for a prototype gamemode. Needed to do some research, but I was on a tight 12 hour deadline to make the art, so I just went with ...

If your doing it for fun and learning, who cares about your image to people who read like that. Not to mention games like Solitude which is a Halo copy, don't help your cause. It just adds to the tweeners giddying with excitement over how amaz0rs Halo is. (No offense to the makers of solitude, I'm ...

Working on a map optimized for the PSP. Screenshots taken from PC build, as I'm to lazy to take screenshots from the PSP directly. Tweaking some lighting, a bunch of the textures are still place holders. http://i39.tinypic.com/9awcug.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/34hasy0.jpg I'll probably make a video ...

Pretty awesome stuff there Electro, you really need to re-link me to those sub-d modelling tutorials sometime, I've completely forgotten the site :o Not much of a texture artist, but fancied a prop in my map. http://i42.tinypic.com/s2sk09.jpg It took far longer then I thought, more then likely due t...

Low-poly fork-lift for a map prop, probably could look better. 250-300 tris.
