divVerent created a radar for Nexuiz using CSQC which I believe is actually more complicated than Halo's radar. This isn't the most flattering picture of the radar: http://pics.nexuizninjaz.com/viewer.php?file=cv5rqz1l9e8zg7pxzbgl.jpg but it shows it none-the-less. Here's the radar code (or part of ...

If it keeps pulling it may be an issue. The hook in the SVN build has this electric energy hook feel to it. It'd be nice if this was used and caused the weapon to overheat and lose grip to recharge for a number of seconds. The blades would be unaffected and could continue spinning infinitely however...

Wow, all these ideas are great. That model is exceptional Electro. I agree such a weapon would yield the the highest probability of a hit. An additional idea may be a (really) short range hook capable of pulling the enemy into the blade. This would be doubly cool for changing your direction. That is...

For weapons, there has been a lot of talk about a melee weapon recently. Many consider Nexuiz too fast for such a weapon but I do not believe this to be true and a melee weapon would add a well needed dimension to the game. I posted a reply in another thread on ID3 about melee weapons. I, personally...

Clearly, you're an expert when it comes to accusing people of things. I don't understand why you can't let sleeping dogs lie. Do a little research before spreading hate. edit: looks like my words inspired leileilol to do something... unfortunately it was to spread more hate: [12:16:11 pm] *** leilei...

He has turned over a new leaf. If you can't tell by the original post he's really trying to make a difference. I believe the ban was uncalled for and due to a previously established personal bias. He was provoked in the thread that led to this ban . Knowing of his previous outbursts, I don't think i...

I3D and PlanetQuake aren't the only sites your article has been frontpaged on, I've shared the news with the ninjaz :). Beyond being awesome that you were able to get as far as you did, learning as much as you did, involving the different people that you did; you took the time to write about it. Peo...
