About the "progdef.h out of date" error I fixed it, but I noticed the mod uses some darkplaces extensions... :( Until I find a way around the lack of strcat darkplaces is needed... About particles, yes. iq used the wizard and hell knight ``sparks'' instead of the default ones on the secret...

Just to clarify things with ssao and the depth buffer stuff. In sikkmod, I had to render there scene again, overriding each surface material with a global material that would spit out an encoded view space depth. This is why alpha tested/blended surfaces have their whole surface opaque in this depth...
